I have always thought that the most adorable gifts are those you are really not expecting. As wonderful and as appreciated as it might be to receive my favourite bottle of perfume, or box of chocolates, it is the gifts that show thought and creativity that are extra special and memorable. Looking back this has always been the case. I will never part with a rather worn trinket box that I distinctly remember receiving for my sixth birthday, even though it wasn't on my rather extensive childhood shopping list at the time. The pleasure of giving and receiving gifts, it seems to me, is largely to do with the surprise. These thoughts lead to the idea of creating iAdoreYour Gifts & Jewellery.

I knew I didn't want iAdoreYour.com to be a typical online business. Many of these are fully automated, many are not based in the UK and many even outsource the processing of their customers orders to faceless logistics companies. These businesses are inflexible; even if they wanted to, they could not offer a truly personal service. To these websites, customers are just e-mail addresses. Just try finding a telephone number to speak to someone at many of the top websites and you'll see what I mean. If you are lucky enough to find a phone number, try speaking to the same person twice and you'll find the illusion of personal service replaced with spending hours on hold being passed from person to person.

In contrast we operate from a small friendly family run office in the Norfolk countryside. We enjoy talking to our customers. I firmly believe that every time we talk to our customers personally and understand what they are looking for they help us make our business better.

You will find our telephone number on every page of our web site and on every advertisement we print. We make it easy for you to contact us by keeping the lines open from 10am every morning to 10pm every night Monday to Saturday. If your prefer you can e-mail your questions to us and we will get back to you promptly.

We keep an example of everything we sell within easy reach in the office so that we can advise you while you are on the phone. We personally hand pack each order which includes luxury gift wrapping in cream gift boxes with beautiful black satin ribbons.

We despatch all orders received before 1pm Monday to Friday the same day and you have a choice of our free standard delivery option on all gift orders over £20, a low cost upgrade to express next business day before 1pm or a very special named day delivery service so that you can surprise someone with a gift on their special day.

Keeping things simple, small and personal has proved to be popular with our customers, we have several loyal repeat customers and lots of very nice feedback from our customers which we have published in the 'customer comments' section. Our first Christmas was more successful than I could ever have hoped for especially given the credit crunch and all the bad news in the press and I thank all our customers, suppliers and the team here for their support.

To assist you with your gift selection we have created categories for the special someone you wish to send a luxury gift. These include 'Gifts For Her' for the lady who has everything, 'Gifts For Him' for the man who would appreciate an imaginative gift and 'Gifts For baby and new mothers'.

Where possible, many of the gifts are designed and handmade in the UK, including handcrafted chocolate made in rural Somerset, natural wax candles made on a farm in Lancashire, and 100% organic Facial and Body products made in Cornwall. Other luxury gifts include Fine Italian leather and nubuck journals designed in Wales and made in Italy.
