Lepidolite is also known as lavenderine, from its lavender colouring and often, as here, includes pink (rubellite) tourmeline. It is a fairly soft stone and should be treated in the same way as turquoise, that is - with care! This is teamed this with sterling silver, with simple links between the stones and a sterling silver chain so that the stones can be seen in all their glory. Lepidolite is a calming stone, soothing the kind of tensions that come with change of any kind. It is also said to help in situations where your intellect is in conflict with your emotions - when your mind says one thing but your heart tells you something else! This necklace is 21" in length (53cm).
